Could we do a setup session at the Summer Gathering, so all I have todo is mount and point the antenna? In short, there are no fixed setup instructions. Things are changing pretty rapidly, so we ask anyone joining the network to hop on irc.freenode.org in channel #HamWAN to get help in getting setup. Things will continue to change rapidly through the winter, and the network admin folks will attempt to keep everyone connected and updated with the changes we're making. This is part of the benefit of having a shared-administration model on the client routers: drastic network changes don't require people to DO STUFF to stay connected. We'll provide a cell site @ the summer gathering so that anyone interested in playing with getting their client connected can do so. I figured there wasn't much installation instructions, just wanted to ask. The cell site at the SG will be great, that should kick start a bunch of us. For those keeping score, my MikroTek showed up this afternoon and the antenna is due tomorrow. I'm going to spend some time tomorrow making the Cat6 cable run for the tower. If the weather holds this weekend, I may just climb the tower and install, rather the wait until the SG. The rain is coming... Sent via radio waves!
